Motorcycling Bits & Bobs: Racing, History and Technology
"Do you love all things motorcycling? Do you have a high command of spoken English? ‘Motorcycling Bits & Bobs’ (M B&B) might just be the course for you. In M B&B you will have to chance to learn about bikes through the medium of English, or to keep learning English through the medium of bikes. The 25 participants in M B&B will have the chance to get acquainted with a myriad of aspects related to biking: from the technology behind race and production motorcycles and the evolution in the history of the sport in the past decades to advice on the best riding gear or riding technique tips."
M B&B is a four-session course aimed at fluent speakers of English (i.e., native English-speaking or C1-or-above language certificate) who enjoy talking, asking and sharing their passion for motorcycles.
The course will comprise introductory sessions where you will be able to learn a wide array of motorcycling-specific jargon. Learners will be able to activate their knowledge in an exceptional context: three Q&A meetings with three well-known personalities in British motorcycling journalism: Martin Fitz-Gibbons, Mat Oxley and Simon Hargreaves.
Students completing the course will be provided a certificate of attendance.
