Estudiamos los ‘modos subjetivos’ de conciencia y autoconciencia que exhibe la alta nobleza en la construcción visual de ‘simismos’ a lo largo de los siglos de la Edad Moderna.
Nuestra propuesta es adentrarnos en el estudio de la ‘alta nobleza’ atendiendo a comportamientos individuales para indagar en las aportaciones específicas, en las construcciones íntimas y originales, y debatir modos subjetivos de conciencia y autoconciencia que tejen la construcción visual de este grupo –como individuo, como género o como linaje-; las formas complejas y diversas del ‘ser’ noble.
